Breastfeeding training for the health care team
Physicians and health care providers have the opportunity to learn about breastfeeding and earn CMEs and CEUs on May 25 in Duluth.
The day begins with Breastfeeding Managment in Primary Care, a workshop for physicians from 7 to 8:30 a.m. This breakfast session provides lactation training for physicians and includes case-based presentations and a physician panel discussion about breastfeeding management in the primary care setting. Cost is $25.
The rest of the day is dedicated to Breastfeeding Managment & Counseling for the Health Care Team, an education day for all health care team members from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event provides lactation training for health care providers to address breastfeeding management needs in hospitals, clinics, community, and tribal settings. Cost is $80 and goes up to $95 after May 1.
Registration is now open. Both events take place at the Duluth Holiday Inn. Register and find more information here.
