Did you know. . . schools and communities can benefit when students qualify for free/reduced price lunch? That’s why Live Well Lake County is encouraging every family with children in the Lake Superior School District to complete the confidential Educational Benefits form. Doing so increases our school district’s and area agency’s chances to receive state and federal funding (grants) for opportunities that benefit all of us. It also helps secure Title 1 funding which helps students better their math and reading skills.

This summer you received the Educational Benefits form in the mail from the school district. Please complete it and mail to:

P.S. Though you can opt out of receiving the free meals, you’re not taking away from someone else if you complete the educational benefit form and accept the meals.
