Tara is a Health Educator with Koochiching County Public Health & Human Services. Tara manages several grant programs within her role and specializes in moving her community forward in the areas of Healthy Eating & Active Living within the Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) program as well as Children’s Mental Health & Emergency Preparedness. Her most valuable SHIP work in her opinion this far has been to be a key partner in the vision and creation of a community park and a Safe Routes to School Plan.
