Brian Bluhm has joined the staff at Healthy Northland as the Northeast Minnesota Regional Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) Coordinator. Prior to working for Healthy Northland, Brian served in a variety of positions with the goal of promoting community sustainability. Most recently, Brian was the Rutabaga Project Coordinator working to get more local and nutritious food to everyone in Iron Range communities. He was also the Executive Director for the Iron Range Partnership for Sustainability, as well as the Northeast Regional Coordinator for the Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs). Brian’s work at the intersections between sustainability and wellness solidified his interest in and appreciation for the community health field. He is excited to support local projects, build networks and improve the lives of people all across the seven county region.
