Community Partners is offering two health classes; “Living Well with Chronic Conditions” and “A Matter of Balance”


“Living Well with Chronic Conditions”

Open to adults experiencing chronic conditions, family members and caregivers.  This workshop guides people in exploring healthy ways to live and maintain active lifestyles while managing chronic conditions such as arthritis, cancer, depression, diabetes, fibromyalgia, and heart disease.

Six sessions, Wednesdays

May 16 through June 20

“A Matter of Balance”

Award-winning fall prevention program which helps participants manage falls, increase confidence and improve activity levels.  Learn strategies to reduce the fear of falling and increase strength and balance.


Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday

Beginning May 22 through June 14

9:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Ecumen Scenic Shores Assisted Living.


Cost for either program: there is a suggested donation of $30.00 or based on a sliding fee – no one will be denied participation due to inability to donate.
